Seamonster? Mutant? Space alien? Who is this gigantic lumbering fellow who trolls through the bay? A friend to all but lonely at heart, he’s always there when trouble gets out of hand.
Sunny Graves is a plucky little red haired girl who lives in the local abandoned lighthouse. She enjoys the company of the monsters which makes her something of an enigma to the local kids. Her parents are unknown at this point, but she manages to keep herself fit and happy with her slimy pals.
The Putrid Pal is an undead French boy who lives under the sea. He just wants a good friend to play with, but none of the non-monster kids of Woe Beach want to have anything to do with him. He grunts out single words from time to time, only in French.
No one knows where he came from…

The creator of the Putrid Pal, Michael Fleming (sometimes known as “Tweedlebop”) lives in Berkeley, California, which is not a dreary seaside, although it does have eerie fog from time to time. He’s married, 38 years old, a vegetarian, and stands 6′ 5″ when not slumped over his Wacom.
The Putrid Pal is a marvel of futuristic artistic programs - “sketched” in Sketchbook Pro, “painted” in Corel Painter and corrected in Photoshop. Not one tree is (usually) harmed in the making of the webcomic pages.
